Police tear gassed and baton charged protestors of a rally demanding the release of Dr Afia Siddiqui from a US jail.
Police stopped the participants of the rally, organized by Pasban Pakistan, to reach the US Consulate and used tear gas and baton charged it to disperse the rally.
Police arrested and later released Afia's sister Fouzia Siddiqui.
According to details, the rally, bound for US consulate, was intercepted by riot police at Abdullah Haroon Road in Karachi's downtown area of Saddar.
Police used water-cannons, baton, and teargas to disperse the participants of the rally.
